Dorjo Restaurant
Dorjo Restaurant Privacy Policy
What Dorjo Restaurant Is
Dorjo Restaurant is a staff app for partner restaurants to validate and redeem Dorjo customer coupon QR codes. The app is intended for approved restaurant owners and staff only.
Data We Collect Or Process
Depending on how your restaurant account is configured, Dorjo Restaurant may collect or process:
- Staff account email address, name, and login information.
- Restaurant name, profile, settings, menu information, and public display details.
- Staff role and restaurant assignment records.
- Coupon scan, validation, and redemption records.
- QR code and manual code validation events.
- Uploaded restaurant or menu images if image upload is enabled.
- Device, browser, app, diagnostic, and server log data where applicable.
- IP address and security logs where needed to protect the service.
Camera And Photos
The camera is used to scan Dorjo coupon QR codes. Camera frames are used for scanning and are not sold. If staff upload restaurant or menu photos, the app may access selected photos only for that upload flow.
Payments And QPay
The Dorjo Restaurant app does not show or collect customer payment card details or QPay credentials. Payment verification is handled by Dorjo backend systems upstream before a coupon becomes valid for restaurant staff.
How We Use Data
- Provide staff login and restaurant access control.
- Validate coupons and prevent duplicate redemptions.
- Support restaurants and resolve account or scanner issues.
- Secure, maintain, and improve Dorjo services.
- Meet legal, fraud prevention, accounting, and operational obligations.
Sharing
We may share data with service providers that help us provide hosting, database, authentication, storage, diagnostics, support, and security. We may also share data if required for legal or compliance reasons. We do not sell restaurant staff data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising tracking unless this policy is updated.
Retention
We keep operational records as needed to provide the service, prevent fraud, support restaurants, maintain accounting records, and satisfy legal obligations. Some transaction, coupon, and redemption records may need to be retained even after staff offboarding.
Access, Correction, Deletion, And Offboarding
Restaurant owners and staff can request access, correction, offboarding, or deletion by contacting dorjo.support@gmail.com. Certain redemption, security, fraud prevention, legal, or accounting records may need to be retained.
International Processing
Data may be processed by Dorjo and its service providers in other countries where our infrastructure or vendors operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
